Streaming and Recording Information

Providing the community with watchable content is a big part of the MRBC League. In order to generate this, teams are encouraged to submit footage of their matches by being awarded C-Bills that get added to their league score for every drop recording they submit. See the rules for more details.

To avoid abuse of the video submission system only 'Team Leaders' and 'Team Streamers' can add video content to the site. This means that if your team wants to earn the C-Bill bonus you must have at least one person who is capable of streaming or uploading match video's signed up with a user account on the website. Once that is done you need to contact a League Admin with the names of your team members who will be leaders and/or streamers so that their account permissions can be set to allow them to add video's to the 'Post Match' section. If you also want your footage to appear live you must submit a twitchtv url as well, then we can add your channel to the 'Live Match' page.

The quality and amount of video content on mrbcleague.com will be in the hands of the competitive community. If we get plenty it will not only help to maintain the interest of the top level gamers themselves, but also provide a wider audience with a place they can come to see high end MWO matches. Giving people easy access to exciting matches played out between the top units in the game will help to draw more people into not only the competitive scene, but also the game itself, so it is up to you to decide if you will contribute to the growth of mrbcleague.com and MWO as a competitive esport. We would love to be able to advertise ourselves around the internet to draw in more viewers and players but we need to have good, regular content on the site first, so if you give us the tools we need, we will do our best to help this game grow!

Since the very beginning of the MWO competitive scene teams have lived and died depending on their number of regular players. We all know it has been very difficult at times to maintain our unit's strength and keep our members as the game has gone through so many changes since it's birth, but mrbcleague.com aims to be a big step towards stabilizing the community. This league will be the first to have match footage so readily available, assuming the teams provide it, and this will help the audience grow, which will help the teams grow, which will help the game grow. In addition we have the league separated into divisions which allows teams to play others of their own level, helping to reduce the number of players units lose due to their morale being crushed by the big boys and girls in MWO. This will help the smaller teams to survive, grow and gain the experience they need to move up and eventually challenge those at the top of the food chain.

Thanks again for signing up for the MRBC League and have a great season!
