Robinson Rangers Brigade vs Head Hunters of Davion 6th Battalion "California Conquerors"
Posted by Doyle on 25 Feb 2014 (1060 reads)

The first MRBC League match has been played between Robinson Rangers Brigade and Head Hunters of Davion 6th Battalion "California Conquerors". Thanks to both teams for kicking off the season for us!

These guys showed that Division C games can be just as entertaining as Division A with 4 well fought drops!

The first two drops were incredibly brutal and fast paced brawls, leaving the score sitting at 1-1 going into drop 3. Drop 3 put the teams on 'Terrible Therma', but despite HHoD CC losing a mech to the lava damage bug they managed to take a cap win to make the score 2-1 in their favour.

Both teams showed what great sports they are going into drop 4 by thanking each other for the games and saying how much they had enjoyed themselves, but the gloves were definitely off when it came to the fight! RR worked hard fighting against the unrelenting tide of HHoD CC mechs but were ultimately crushed. They may be from California, but HHoD CC seemed right at home in the snowy wastes of 'Frozen City'!

Robinson Rangers Brigade we're recording the match so hopefully they will upload the footage for those that missed it live!

Great games, and both teams showed themselves to be good sports too. A fantastic example to follow for the rest of the MRBC season!

With more awesome matches to come this week, don't forget to check out the schedule and support your favorite team by watching them live!

 Great game ladies and gentlemen.
6th Battalion had a great time taking on Robinson's Rangers. I gotta say, calling targets in the first drop was damn near impossible with all the fast movers tangled in one of the most chaotic fights I've ever been in. Thanks to RR for a great evening, and we look forward to the next time we take the field. <S> Helsbane
